It is never windy in Torino
But today it is
and it's almost June
and wet and cold
a winter renaissance
amongst the baroque beauty
of the buildings
the pantomimes
the jugglers
and costumed people
who are firing a cannon
every few minutes
for the amusement
of the crowd
Which they would never do
if they lived along the border
of a hostile country
as we do
